Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Customer Service to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring efficient communication between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize freight operations.

Duties

  • Manage and coordinate daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes that may arise.
  • Analyze data related to freight operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry and ensure all information is updated in the system.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients, drivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Operate phone systems efficiently to handle incoming calls and relay information as needed.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless logistics and transportation processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in freight or transportation management is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and terminology is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess operational data and make informed decisions.
  • Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is an advantage.
