Reporting to the Chief of Services - Development, Parks and Public Spaces, the incumbent plans, organizes, directs and evaluates projects related to various fields of engineering. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine the requirements for carrying out projects. They develop specifications and work methods and ensure that the work complies with the clauses of the specifications and municipal construction standards. They coordinate and oversee the work of the various stakeholders in the projects assigned to them.

Depending on the needs of the organization, the incumbent may be assigned mandates focused on planning or carrying out projects.

Requirements and sought-after skills

A bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture.

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the field of duties.

Membership to the Association des ... landscape architects of Quebec.

A valid Class 5 driver's licence.

Experience in the municipal sector will be considered an asset.
