Are you a highly motivated, experienced and passionate Social Media Management professional who is passionate about using social media to empower marginalized and vulnerable populations? Do you believe in the power of youth engagement and youth leadership? Cuso International is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Media Management Advisor to join its Global Youth Engagement and Leadership program to support a local youth-serving organization in Cameroon.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in one of the following fields:

• Marketing

• Communications

• Community Management

With at least 5 years of relevant work experience in roles such as:

• Community Manager

• Communications Officer

• Marketing Analyst

The successful candidate will lead the following activities:

• Conduct an assessment of the current practices and capacities.

• Develop a social media communication strategy outlining objectives, target audiences, key messages, relevant platforms, and actions for effective communication.

• Provide management of social media and media campaigns for the partner.

In this role, you will also lead training and capacity-building activities for local staff and youth on effective social media strategies, including:

• Training on social media management tools and techniques

• Facilitating workshops on social media strategy development and implementation

• Mentoring and coaching local staff and youth on social media management best practices

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and French and be willing to live and work in Cameroon for the duration of the assignment.
