**Replacement position**

The main duties of the employee in this class of jobs consist of performing housekeeping, preventive maintenance and physical maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. This role also includes the handling and transportation of goods, furniture and other equipment. In addition, he / she may be required to perform the characteristic duties of the maintenance worker or maintenance worker, class III.

The compensation and working conditions are those in force at the College. The position offered is an evening position (4 p.m. to 11 p.m.) at 8 hours / day.

The employee in this class of jobs performs work to ensure the cleanliness of the premises and the good condition of the equipment. He / she can carry out his / her duties alone or with other employees. With regard to the cleanliness of the premises, he generally performs all of the following tasks:

sweeping, mopping, washing, stripping and waxing, if necessary, the floors and stairs; clean the walls and ceilings; wash and clean the drinking fountains, sinks, sinks, bathroom counters, toilets and showers; dust furniture and surfaces; collect waste, empty trash cans and recycling bins, and dispose of them when they are collected; wash windows both inside and outside as well as blinds and canvases; outside, remove snow from entrances, stairs, sidewalks, playgrounds and roofs and spread sand or salt, as needed; he / she may be required to clean the yard, mow the lawn, collect fallen leaves and throw them away.

Regarding preventive and physical maintenance, he replaces bulbs, fluorescent tubes; it supplies or ensures the supply and operation of appliance heating lights; she reports damage observed during the execution of his work; it cleans the grilles and diffusers of ventilation; it carries out all kinds of minor repairs. He / she can assist qualified support staff by handling heavy objects and materials, holding parts in a specific position, cleaning and providing the necessary tools, cleaning the premises where the work is carried out. He can also erect and dismantle scaffolding.

He uses, stores and disposes of the various products required in the performance of his duties in a safe manner and in compliance with standards. As part of his work, he moves furniture, handles, transports and stores goods and materials:
