Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a full-time Residential Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. You will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our tenants and the upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of equipment, such as HVAC systems and appliances.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to urgent maintenance requests to minimize inconvenience to tenants.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of work performed, maintenance reports, and inventory of replacement parts.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe living environment for residents.
  • Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement maintenance improvements to optimize operations and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • Technical Skills: Drywall installation, plastering, and painting required. Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC is a strong asset.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professionalism: Reliable, organized, and responsible.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Autonomy: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
