Job Overview

Klondike is searching for a hidden gem (Heavy Mechanic) who is motivated, resourceful, and hard working.

Must have a good experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic which will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our heavy machinery and equipment. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently to ensure optimal performance and safety of equipment.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

· Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on heavy machinery.

· Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.

· Replace defective parts and components using appropriate tools and equipment.

· Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

· Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely project completion.

· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on equipment.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

· Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

· Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are a plus.

Education and Experience

- Must have certification in heavy mechanics

- Minimum 3 years experience

- Welding capabilities

• Must have a toolbox
