Functional Fitness Coach (mornings)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in weightlifting, gymnastics and a commitment to educating and developing athletes of all skill levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate and inspire others, and a deep understanding of weightlifting techniques and training methods.

Responsibilities

• Educate athletes on proper training techniques, strategies, and rules of the gym.
• Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
• Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Maintain open communication with members, and other coaching staff regarding progress and development.

Experience

• Prior experience and knowledge of functional anatomy.
• Previous coaching experience in functional training or related sports is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of weightlifting techniques and training regimens.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with athletes of various ages and backgrounds.
• A passion for teaching and developing athletes both in skill level and confidence.
• Certifications in CPR, First Aid, or coaching certificate may be advantageous but are not mandatory.
